Gigantic waves, an ocean in turquoise and deep indigo blue. It was sunset and the scent of sunscreen was still in the air. On the beach in Cancún, I saw the most powerful waves of my life - an endless interplay of movement and light. The next day, I dived into the silence beneath the surface.
Where the water gets darker, where currents envelop you and sunbeams dance in shimmering patterns on the bottom, I was gripped by a feeling of weightlessness and at the same time of an unstoppable whirlpool.
This experience is reflected in In the Heart of the Abyss. The composition circles, drawing the eye to the center, as if one were being sucked into a vortex of color and light.
This work invites us to reflect on our inner connection with the ocean and to feel the infinite energy that surrounds us all.
A journey of self-discovery
Dynamic brushstrokes create movement, while the rich blue and green tones capture the depth of the ocean. In some places, the finest gold leaf lights up the picture - like reflections of light on the surface of the water or hidden treasures flashing in the depths.
The relief-like structures of the marble paste give the surface an almost tangible presence, like rocks shaped by water or corals smoothed by currents.
Diving means embracing the unknown, going into the depths - into the ocean and into yourself. It is a moment of surrender in which you learn not to fight the currents, but to allow yourself to be carried by them. Perhaps it is precisely in the silence of the depths that a new view of what moves us in secret is revealed.

In this work, deep blue and green tones merge with shimmering gold and mysterious shadows to create a captivating composition. The circular dynamics of the brushstrokes draw the eye into a vortex of color and movement, while fine gold leaf accents light up the surface like rays of sunlight breaking through the water. Structural details made of marble flour paste lend the painting a tangible depth, reminiscent of landscapes shaped by the sea and hidden worlds.
