Orange Spirit
This series is a tribute to the precious moment when devotion, joy and compassion merge into one. Inspired by my retreats in Catholic and Buddhist monasteries, deeply moving encounters with extraordinary people and the stillness of the sea, each work reflects these experiences.
For those who appreciate the immeasurable, this series celebrates the beauty of trust and the profound power of forgiveness.
It is more than art - it is an invitation to experience the essence of true love that knows no conditions.
The "Orange Spirit" series invites you to discover the essence of love - inspired by the timeless wisdom of Mother Teresa:
"It's not how much we do that counts, but how much love we put into what we do."
At the heart of this series is the color orange, which carries a special symbolic power. It is the color of the sunrise - a symbol of new beginnings, hope and warmth. In its soft, radiant light, the world appears softer, more radiant and full of compassion. It reminds us to look at our surroundings with more gratitude and heart.
Say No
This series is an invitation to say "No" - to the fears that keep us stuck in the past, to the people and relationships that drain our energy. "Say No" means letting go of everything that holds us back so that we can finally take on the project that is close to our hearts.
In "Say No", the contrasting colors weave together, flowing and striving upward to send a gentle but powerful message. The transitions are fluid but clear - just like the choices we make to set ourselves apart. The harmony here is not always loud, but it is deep.
The paintings and collages, just as meticulous as in "Say Yes", draw on everyday fragments, but here they are interwoven with symbols of letting go. Each painting is a step towards freedom, a step away from the burden of the past towards a self-determined future.
These works purify the mind and show that true strength lies in setting clear boundaries. By saying 'no', we create space for what truly nourishes us.
Say Yes
This series is an invitation to say "yes" to the unknown, the unforeseen and the unexpected.
In "Say Yes", the colors explode like fireworks, confronting and merging to create dynamic and unexpected compositions. The contrasts, sometimes harmonious, sometimes dissonant, symbolize the decisions and risks that life brings with it.
The meticulously assembled collages integrate elements of everyday life, fragments of dreams and echoes of the past.
The result is a patchwork of meanings that transcends time and space. Each painting is an invitation to an adventure, to discover the self and the world.
These works liberate the spirit and show that the more you embrace the contrasts of life, the more you find inner harmony. Incidentally, I have also used unusual materials...
Ode to courage
This series is an ode to the courage to shape your life according to your deepest desires.
The collages combine vivid contrasts: pigments, translucent silks, Japanese ink, sand... They evoke elements of our childhood dreams and the conquest of inner boundaries. It is an explosive firework of the soul that gradually frees itself from limiting convictions.
Each painting invites you to experience the process of liberation and release new energies. They have a liberating effect: when you dare to realize your dreams, you find inner fulfillment. The bright areas appear as untouched spaces full of new possibilities waiting to be discovered...
Like a breeze
The series "Like a Breeze" materializes the contrast between the transience of life and its essence.
Every painting reflects this wisdom: while life itself is fleeting, the soul remains eternal.
This series exudes both a sense of rootedness and a promise of freedom. Each of these works seems to say: "The deeper you are rooted in yourself, the better you can spread your wings."
What other hidden messages does the series "Like a Breeze" contain? Are you curious?
Wings and abysses
This series illustrates the path of life through a play of vivid contrasts.
Each brushstroke reflects this duality: while life's challenges are numerous, the search for eternal love persists. Inspired by Wim Wenders' film, these works symbolize density and harmony while inviting us to follow the path of angels.
These paintings radiate both deep complexity and calm lightness.
They seem to whisper: "Time passes, things change, but love remains eternal, powerful and beautiful."
I have applied up to fifty layers of paint, which creates spectacular effects, depending on the distance from which you look at the works...
Rimbaud's riot of color
"Through the blue summer evening I will stride,
stalk prick me, and trampling the grass
I feel its freshness glide around my foot;
my head shall bathe in the wind's coolness."
These verses from the poem "Sensation" by Rimbaud reflect the essence of these paintings. The vibrant and radiant colors represent the different emotions and feelings that permeate us: Nostalgia, passion, melancholy, joy...
Just as the poet explored the paths of nature to find inspiration, these paintings invite us to explore our own inner world to discover our own source of creativity and inspiration. These works exude a special freshness achieved through an unexpected technique...
Breton color dance
This triptych is a celebration of the deep connection to nature and reflects the inner richness that we all carry within us.
In "Breton Color Dance", the shades of blue unfold into a visual symphony that captures the power of the waves and the unique essence of this Breton island. The color harmonies, sometimes soft, sometimes intense, symbolize the depth and strength of the sea - a reflection of our own inner complexity. I painted the pictures on the Breton island.
The flowing and interwoven forms represent the calming energy of the waves. Each painting invites you to feel the power of the elements, to reconnect with yourself and explore new horizons.
The more you immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature, the more you discover your own inner richness. By the way, I documented this artistic journey and the unexpected moments that shaped it in a video on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/UktU9cFaL08.
Flower dance
"Like a god with huge blue eyes and made of snow, the sea and the sky draw a crowd of young, vigorous roses onto the marble terraces." Rimbaud
This series illustrates the creative power of intention. Each seed carries the ambition to become a flower.
Rimbaud gives flowers a unique power in this 24th poem of "Illuminations", which has deeply inspired this series. I have explored all the hues to reveal new vitality in the flowers, to give them a voice and a renewed presence.
Like the poet, I have tried to capture the intense vibrancy that emanates from the flowers. These paintings celebrate the diversity and power of our own inner resources and remind us that, like every flower, we carry an infinite creative energy within us. And how do you unleash this energy?
