Love is the universal force that transcends all boundaries.
Passionately embraced by orange fireballs, the delicate, cheeky waves of the turquoise ocean dance to the rhythm of an invisible music.
Violet-green, indigo blue, the precious silk scarves leap out of the sea into the floods of sunlight like cheerful fish. The marble flour sand bays stand out vividly and are reminiscent of a generous dollop of cream on a pink and white strawberry cake.
The work literally invites us to touch it, to recharge ourselves with the energy of the gilded, glittering mandalas, which take us on a journey into our inner world - to where the most precious place in us is, where there are no more boundaries, only unconditional love.
As if my soul were floating up to the marble ceilings of the church
Unconditional love that sounds like an orange promise
My first great love was someone who wasn't really my type. Henning was very thin, 2 meters tall with a very long nose and he was always breaking things. On our first date, he knocked everything over with excitement, the glass with the wine, and in the end he even dropped the cutlery.
Why had I fallen in love with such a man?
I didn't realize this for a long time until I heard a baroque flute concerto in the church in Trouville near the sea. The notes seemed to float past me and I felt a tingling sensation all over my body. It was almost as if my soul was floating up to the marble ceilings of this church. I was blown away. Then I suddenly remembered how sensitively Henning could play the flute.
His greatest weakness was also his greatest strength: a deep sensitivity that I had once fallen in love with. Like a Vivaldi concerto, sometimes we are touched by something that transcends everything visible - pure, unconditional love.
The colorful silk scarf fragments in the work "Orange Promise", reminiscent of jumping fish, move in the clear, turquoise-green water with delicate yet powerful movements. Unconditional love that sounds like an orange promise in our innermost being and whose melody floats far beyond the canvas.
What makes us so lovable
Can I tell you a secret?
This work was actually created from a damaged gift.
After an exhibition where I donated the proceeds to the aid organization OEEI for the victims of the war in Ukraine, I received a large canvas as a gift.
Full of anticipation, I opened the packaging and discovered a screen - a canvas that offered me the opportunity to create an inner dreamscape: a turquoise-blue ocean embraced by the intense evening sun.
But the joy was quickly dampened. The screen had two tears. What now?
The greatest strength lies in the most fragile areas
My gaze fell on a tin of marble powder. I began to patch up the cracks with textured paste, fine sand and ochre yellow, handmade paper. This created lively textures - full of tension and depth.
It was precisely these cracks, at first like mistakes, that became the strongest expression. They reminded me of Leonard Cohen's words: "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in."
It is often our fractures and fragile sides that make us shine the most.
An atmosphere of security
The bright orange penetrates the artwork like gentle rays of sunshine and fills the room with energy and vibrancy. The turquoise and blue nuances unfold in flowing movements reminiscent of the refreshing lightness of ocean waves.
Playful shades of pink set delicate accents and bring a subtle warmth that gently envelops your home. The result is a color composition that creates a warm-hearted atmosphere of balance and security.

Growing paper : Uniting art and nature
This work of art unfolds its versatility not only as a canvas, but also as a stylish room divider that structures and connects rooms with gentle elegance. The front and back tell of natural growth, inspired by love as a way of life.
Seeds made of growing paper and fine plant motifs integrated on the reverse create a delicate, lively dynamic that fills the room with an organic lightness. The work unites art and nature in a unique way to create an inspiring living ambience.

What drives you is not fear but love
This work of art was created for those who are always trying to overcome their inner limits. For people who set out to achieve their ideal of deep connection with themselves and the world. For those who draw the strength to overcome their ego again and again and open themselves to the world with all their senses.
This work will remind you daily that with love as your fuel, you can sail limitlessly across the open sea of life.
"The artwork "Yes" fits perfectly into our Art Nouveau apartment! We had a very dear person give it to us as a wedding present. My partner and I love the contrasts that create a lively harmony - just like in a relationship. Anja used Photoshop to visualize the works in our room. That helped us a lot with the selection. "
